Yesterday my mom and I went into Seattle for a few hours and went to the Chihuly Museum and Garden.  I love glass sculptures.  I have only been to the museum once before and it happened to be when the one exhibit I most wanted to see was closed, so this time before we went I checked to make sure it was open.  It’s the glass house with the red, orange and yellow flowers and now that I have seen it I can say that it is my favorite.  It was a nice day to go too, sunny but a little cooler than it will be for a while.  One of the things my mom found out this time is that in the garden they placed all the sculptures first and then they chose the flowers and shrubs to coordinate with the glass.  Afterwards we got some lunch at Macrina Bakery that I have been wanting to try.
