My Favorite Season

It never gets old, this season that I love so much.  It never lasts long enough, I never see enough color changing leaves, or eat enough warm soups, or have enough holiday celebrations.  I’ve heard someone in my area describe Autumn in the mountains as changing to hues of butterscotch and gold.  I feel like this year it was even more prominent.  I love the view from my living room where I can see the vibrant orange/red trees out of every window.  I love all of the rows of trees that have been planted throughout our whole area.  I equally love the bright sunny days with the light causing the yellow leaves to glow, and the overcast rainy days creating mist and fog in the mountains and hills and the one day that it hailed and looked like snow over all of the houses.  Every year I can seriously never get enough of it all.
