March Vacation: Orlando – Epcot

The last theme park we did in Orlando was Epcot.  Vu loves this one because he loves going to all the different countries and trying all the different foods.  This time around we found a blog online that recommended all of the best things to eat and so we tried of few of those suggestions and they were all sooo good!  We got the General Tso’s Chicken and Braised Pork Belly Steamed Buns at the Nine Dragons in China, the Hummus fries at Spice Road Table in Morocco, and the welsh pub burger at the Rose and Crown in the United Kingdom.  We really wanted to try the poutine at Le Cellier in Canada, but you have to have a reservation to go there, and we didn’t plan it in advance.  Next time!  I was surprised how much I liked the Hummus fries, because I don’t actually like Hummus.  But they were so good.  One of my cousins joined us again and that was really fun.  We just happened to go during the flower and garden festival so they had all of their beautiful character topiaries out and all sorts of flowers.  I loved that we timed it to see them.  I especially loved the Lion King and Beauty and the Beast ones.  And I was finally able to go to the Soarin’ ride, which I have never yet done at Disneyland or Disneyworld, and that was my favorite ride at Epcot, I loved it!  It was a really fun and relaxing week in Orlando.  In between all of our park days we spent some time with Vu’s family which was really great too, and I had so much fun doing Disney with my cousins!
