One of the days while we were in Mexico we took an all day tour to see 2 of the Mayan Ruins, Tulum and Chichen Itza.  I loved this, it was my favorite thing we did.  We had our own private tour guide and we started the day in Tulum and it was so beautiful, right on the water.  I love learning about the history and wandering around the ruins.  We then stopped for lunch and visited one of the cenotes before heading out to Chichen Itza.  Chichen Itza was so big and so cool.  If you stand at the right spot and everyone claps at once you can hear the echo going up through the top of the temple and it makes the sound like a bird.  It was so cool.  I can’t believe they were able to figure that out.  I also loved chatting with out tour guide/driver for the whole time driving between each site and learning about life in Mexico.  It was so much fun and out tour was so great!
